海湾游艇公司首席运营官欧文·巴姆波斯指出：“我从2002年开始效力于海湾游艇公司。这是我第一次接触此行业。但9年来，该公司发展惊人，船坞已从一个扩展为四个。过去我们的员工仅有220人，目前已增加至1,400人。我们的销售业绩也增长迅速。而该公司最吸引我的是其视野，作为一家中东企业，设法在世界各地扬名立万！”

此外，“当我应邀在各大研讨会上发言时，我谈到的不是船舶，而是优秀的管理、奢侈品行业和互联网营销、制造业和新兴市场以及劳工授权等问题。当人们问我为什么不谈造船时，我告诉他们：造船并非我公司唯一追求，我们还注重与客户之间铸建互信和友好合作关系。我们销售假期及奢华体验，只是这一切恰巧发生在船上，仅此而已。”

“我的梦想，同时也是Al Shaali先生的夙愿：在未来10至15年时间内，努力打造海湾游艇公司，使之跻身全球游艇制造业前10强。他想创建一个业内传奇，而我希望成为该传奇中的一份子，迄今为止我都一直乐享其中。”
