GULF CRAFT ANNOUNCES DUAL MAJESTY 100 DELIVERY

14 July 2020, UAE: Emirates luxury yacht manufacturer, Gulf Craft, has announced the successful delivery of two Majesty 100s today. En route to Europe, these two superyachts will be handed over to their owner’s representatives in Italy where they will cruise the Mediterranean this summer season. Gulf Craft has taken every measure to ensure the safe delivery of both yachts through its smart management systems. Given the current travel restrictions, Gulf Craft introduced a virtual handover procedure that allowed the crew to efficiently review all the systems onboard together with shipyard experts and officials.

Each of the two 31.7m Majesty 100 was designed and built to cater to their owner’s specific requests. Gulf Craft’s in-house design studio was responsible for the exterior and interior design of the superyachts. Following a project brief by each client, the team worked to echo their desires into each build and created a harmonious gem that merged seamlessly with the yacht’s timeless exterior design.

Majesty 100 M/Y Harmony

The sale of Majesty 100 dubbed M/Y Harmony was concluded by Jonacor Marine, Gulf Craft’s distributor in Russia and Ukraine, who were also acting as the owners’ representatives during the build period until delivery. The eighth hull of the series will be cruising through Europe this summer season with its experienced owners.

Commenting on the sale, Alexey Iova Development Director at Jonacor Marine said: “Our experience in the industry spans over decades of yacht and boat building. Having worked with many international yacht brands, the Majesty 100 offers a multitude of unique features that are unprecedented for a yacht of this size. We have noticed a growing interest from our clientele towards this superyacht, having sold three already. Clients choose this model for its high standards of reliability, comfort, supreme space, and sea keeping capabilities.

The layout of Majesty 100 M/Y Harmony has been cleverly designed to maximize the owner’s privacy but also to create an efficient flow for the crew from almost any area of the yacht. The spaces onboard showcase the yacht’s functional design that blends with the exterior lines to create a luring profile.

Built to RINA Pleasure, M/Y Harmony is powered by twin MAN 1,900 engines reaching a top speed of 20 knots.

Majesty 100 M/Y Isla

The ninth in the Majesty 100 series is M/Y Isla. The client is a first-time yacht owner but a serial charter aficionado. Having commissioned this Majesty 100 with careful attention to every material and equipment installed onboard, the superyacht is built specifically to accommodate his family’s every request.

Main unique features on M/Y Isla include the extended tender lift platform to fit the 5.2m dinghy which doubles as an expansive lounge area when launched. The superyacht is MCA-LY3 compliant with multiple upgrades to meet charter demands such as extra freezers, integrated Audio/Visual systems, higher-grade galley equipment, and most notably boasts an environmentally friendly water treatment solution that can sustain the yacht for extended trips out to sea.

As the sale of this yacht was concluded directly with the shipyard, the owner’s contribution during the entire build process was very engaging and inspiring. The owner and his representatives worked closely with the shipyard and admired its progress on a weekly basis. This created a fascinating experience and heartfelt journey from the designer’s drawing board in the early stages to launch and final handover.

M/Y Isla’s interior design is characterized by a combination of durable warm leather, sustainable wood, and engineered marble that makes almost all the material onboard eco-friendly giving it a light and modern ambiance.

Power comes from a pair of MAN 1,900hp engines propelling the yacht to a top speed of 20 knots.
