The more you examine people’s behavior, the more you realize we all have a lot in common. Take American, European, and Middle Eastern yacht buyers, for example. The styling of American-owned yachts tends to be more traditional than tricked-out, but entertainment is high on the list either way. Indeed, Americans like inviting friends and family aboard to enjoy a day’s or even a few days’ cruise. Europeans buyers, although they tend to gravitate toward flashier-looking yachts, also enjoy entertaining. And Middle Eastern owners are renowned for inviting lots of people aboard. It’s not unusual to hear of a party of 30 or more being entertained on a yacht in the 100-foot size range.

It was some of those very same clients who influenced the creation of the new Gulf 95 EXP. They liked Gulf Craft’s approach to building beautifully appointed yachts that could handle a crowd. But they wanted even more of what Erwin Bamps, Gulf Craft’s chief operating officer, calls “a living experience, like a loft apartment on the water.”
