Gulf Craft and educational initiatives

Gulf Craft, one of the top 10 superyacht builders in the world and 2014 Shipyard of the Year awardee, not only builds yachts and boats.  Aside from its corporate social responsibility programs, Gulf Craft also welcomes traineeships and requests for activities such as educational  tours from different universities and technical institutes.

Zayed University students with Mahmoud Itani, Marketing Manager & Communications of Gulf Craft

In November four university students from Zayed University in Dubai arrived at the Gulf Craft facility in Umm Al Quwain to learn more about yacht interior design as part of their project.  They were given a discourse by their professor assisted by Gulf Craft in-house interior designers. Mr. Mahmoud Itani, Gulf Craft's Marketing & Communications Manager, gave them a tour on a newly built Majesty 56 accompanied by one of Gulf Craft's designers.

Mr. Mohammed Alshaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft, is also a patron of education.  In his latest interview with Global Citizen magazine (November-December 2014 issue), he mentioned in "Running a tight ship" Gulf Craft's standing offer to pay the university fees of qualified students who are eager to study marine engineering.

Students who are driven and eager to learn more about the yacht and boat building industry may apply for internship. Please send your request letter, along with the letter of approval or recommendation from your university to gci@gulfcraftinc.com.
