Erwin Bamps, Chief Executive Officer, commented on the initiative: "Gulf Craft cares for the environment. We have decided on this beach clean-up activity in line with the UAE government’s focus on environmental initiatives and as part of our  on-going corporate responsibility programs".

Gulf Craft has also teamed up with Bee'ah, the Middle East’s leading and award-winning fully integrated environment and waste management company.

Through Bee'ah's infrastructure, tools and support, Gulf Craft is able to achieve three environmental principles- reduce, reuse, and recycle.  Almost 30% of the trash generated within the company are recyclable plastic, paper and cardboard products. Gulf Craft employees are provided with recycled Bee'ah plastic bins to collect their paper waste. The company has also dedicated an area in its facilities for the recyclable waste and Bee'ah arranges a weekly collection.

Bee'ah also provides secured shredding of confidential documents. They do the shredding on the spot at the company's facility in the presence of the company's representatives.

Bee'ah Documents are fed to the shredding machine by the Bee'ah representative.

Shredded documents are taken to the Bee'ah facility for recycling.

Gulf Craft is actively looking to enhance its recycling programs and further minimize its environmental impact.
