Dubai, 24th Oct 2017- The 4th Maritime Standard Awards ceremony, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum- President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman & Chief Executive of the Emirates Airlines Group, was held at the Atlantis The Palm in Dubai on October 23.
The Maritime Standard Awards recognise the achievements of the marine industry’s most outstanding companies and celebrate their successes. This year, Gulf Craft proudly adds another accolade to its award portfolio - the Passenger Ship, Leisure Craft and Yacht Builder of the Year Award 2017.
The volume of nominations received this year for the Awards was an all-time high. This reflects the growing status of The Maritime Standard Awards as the premier event of its type in the region, which has earned it a high profile and widespread popularity. As well as the winners of the various award categories chosen by an elite, and highly experienced independent judging panel, there were also awards presented by The Maritime Standard team for outstanding individual contributions. In total around 30 awards were presented on the night.
