The ‘Majesty Yachts Exclusive Preview’ event will dock at The Pearl Qatar from March 28th to 30th and will witness the Qatari premiere of a new Majesty 125 – Gulf Craft’s second-largest superyacht model, and a brand new Majesty 105 – a revolutionary superyacht model that received high praise for its excellent outdoor entertainment capabilities at the recently concluded Dubai International Boat Show 2013, and at last year’s Dubai edition where the model was launched.

The yacht line-up will also feature other popular Gulf Craft models including the Majesty 56, Majesty 63 and the Majesty 70.

“Qatar is a market that is highly boating oriented and a booming one for Gulf Craft.  We have delivered a number of yachts and superyachts to Qatar in recent years, a development which has coincided with the number of new marinas that have come online in the country,” says Mohamed AlShaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft.

“There is a high interest in larger-sized yachts, to almost the same degree as in the UAE. We consider Qatar a home market and following the interest received at the Dubai Boat Show, we were keen to showcase some of our most popular models to the Qataris on their home turf,” he added. “We presented a similar showcase in late 2011 which was very positively met and indicated a very strong interest in what we bring to the market.”

Erwin Bamps, Chief Operating Officer, added: “The appetite for larger yachts in the Gulf market has progressed in line with Gulf Craft’s own inroads into the global superyacht industry. We have completed 7 superyachts above 30m in the past year alone, a significant slice of the international pie considering the global superyacht order deliveries in 2012 stood at only just over 200 yachts.”

He continued: “As the leader in the boat and yachting market in Qatar, we are strongly committed to this market and have strong dealer partnerships that ensure that our clients are fully supported in terms of technical support and maintenance.“
