Gulf Craft & Australian Superyachts ride high with an alluring presence

Gulf Craft, in conjunction with its exclusive dealer, Australian Superyachts, rode a wave of success with the premiere of Majesty 100 M/Y Oneworld at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show - the Southern Hemisphere's premier boating festival. Celebrating a monumental achievement of being held for the 30th year, the show was held from 24 –27 May, 2018 at The Marine Village.

"For us Australia is an important and steadily growing market. In the past two years alone, we have delivered a number of yachts and boats, most notably the Majesty 122, Majesty 77, Nomad 65 and recently the Majesty 100. We are happy to be here at the Cove for the second year in a row, and our participation reflects our commitment to our clients in this wonderful yachting market and destination." said Mahmoud Itani, Marketing & Communications Manager of Gulf Craft.

Following a high profile global debut, the first Majesty 100 was delivered to an experienced Australian yacht owner. Majesty 100 M/Y Oneworld commenced operations on the East Coast with Oneworld Charters, powering exceptional escapes through some of the world’s most spectacular tropical islands - Whitsundays, the warm azure waters of The South Pacific, one of the Seven Wonders of the World - Great Barrier Reef and also letting the guests experience the stunning views of the Sydney Harbour.

The raised wheelhouse Majesty 100 M/Y Oneworld is the first in Majesty Yachts’ collection to feature a sky-lounge, allowing owners to quickly seal off the upper deck when required. This feature allows guests sitting within its spacious lounge area to enjoy breathtaking views of the vast seascape, with the added luxury and comfort offered by indoor living. The upper deck is complete with a wet bar, Jacuzzi spa pool, forward sunbathing and alfresco dining area.

With stunning exterior, interior, and naval architecture and design courtesy of Gulf Craft’s in-house Design Studio, the complete layout of the Majesty 100 emphasizes on extending the outdoor experience to the interior space, which can be seen in the floor-to ceiling glass in the main saloon.

Offering accommodation for twelve guests, spread over five en-suite staterooms including the owner’s suite, along with crew quarters for up to six members, expansive interior and exterior entertainment spaces, the superyacht makes an attractive proposition for the charter markets. Powered by two 1,900 hp MAN engines, she can reach a top speed of 20 knots. When trimmed back to her economical speed of 12 knots, Oneworld boasts a maximum cruising range of 1,500 nautical miles.

Built specifically for the Australian charter market, Majesty 100 M/Y Oneworld is compliant with Caymans Islands Shipping Registry Large Commercial Yacht Code (LY3), RINA Rules for Commercial Yachts and AMSA National Standard for Commercial Vessels Domestic Commercial Vessel (DCV) Class 1D and 2C.

"The Australian customer is a very sophisticated buyer in the sense that he is looking for quality and value and Gulf Craft delivers that perfect balance. Being one of the very few shipyards in the world that continue to build and has delivered charter superyachts complying with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) National Standard for Commercial Vessels (NSCV) Code is an added plus. Gulf Craft's reliability, holistic design, timeless styling and a wide range of products that meets different buyers' requirements places it way ahead of all the other yacht and boat builders." said Richard Morris, Managing Director of Australian Superyachts.
