The program, which is open to GCC Nationals between the ages of 25 and 35 with a minimum of two-years work experience, is comprised of six distinct course modules that provide both classroom and experience-based instruction. Candidates are selected through a meticulous evaluation process that involves a series of interviews and psychometric testing. More than 500 candidates applied last year, out of which 20 were selected.

Gulf Craft will sponsor the program’s sixth module, which will be organized under the theme “My World”.  Participants will receive valuable insights on the skills needed to survive in today’s globalized business environment. The core topics will include global trends, leadership qualities, international protocol and etiquette, and business networking.

“We live in a dynamic and competitive business environment, characterized by evolving industry landscapes, increased interconnectivity, and rapid globalization,” said HE Mohammed Hussein AlShaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft. “In order to survive these changes, tomorrow’s leaders must not only be equipped with the right skills, but with the sound knowledge on when and how to deploy them. By sharing our expertise and giving young professionals an opportunity to acquire valuable skills in a real-world setting, we help them realize their potential.”

As part of the course program, participants will spend a day touring Gulf Craft’s award-winning Umm Al Quwain facility in order to gain a deeper understanding of the yacht and boat manufacturing process and exposure to the different departments that work closely together to create the shipyard’s globally recognized innovations.

Members of the program will also have an opportunity to meet with HE Mohammed Hussein AlShaali, who will share Gulf Craft’s legacy and the milestones that have led to the company’s worldwide success.

Gulf Craft is listed as one of the top ten superyacht shipyards in the 2016 edition of the industry leading publication, the Superyacht Intelligence Annual Report.
