On display at our stand was the Silvercraft 31, one of the popular family and fishing boat models in the Silvercraft series of Gulf Craft. The show was held at the BKC Ground in Mumbai from September 21-24.
Aashim Mongia, Managing Director of West Coat Marine, Gulf Craft’s representative in India, said, "With the Indian economy showing signs of a revival, West Coast Marine Yacht Services is very bullish about the market. We have decided to launch a series of marketing activities which includes our participation in the Big Boys Toys earlier in September and our presence at INMEX 2017, Mumbai, starting October 3.”
. After years of lull, we have finally seen some traction with the sale of the first Silvercraft 36 HT boat in India.
The Big Boys Toys show did not have enough footfalls as we would have liked and the client base was mainly for the charter market and the Sailing school inquires. With INMEX, we are looking at addressing the government and semi-government segment in the chandlery section and hope to get some traction there as well."
