Gulf Craft to Hold Oman Very First Leisure Marine Show

Majesty 135 to lead the line-up of luxury superyachts, sport cruisers and leisure craft to be displayed at The Wave Muscat from May 1st -3rd

Gulf Craft, recently named one of the world’s top 10 superyacht builders and market leader in the Sultanate of Oman, will be showcasing a line-up of luxury superyachts, sport cruisers and leisure craft at the first-ever leisure marine show to take place in Oman.

The Gulf Craft fleet will dock at Almouj Marina, The Wave, from May 1st – 3rd and will be led by the largest superyacht to be built by the shipyard to date – the Majesty 135 (Winner of the "Best Asia Built Yacht' at the 2013 Asia Boating Awards). It will be joined by other luxury superyacht models, including the Majesty 105 (shortlisted for Boat International’s 2014 World Superyacht Awards) in addition to 2014 models of the Oryx sport cruisers and Silvercraft leisure boat range.

Gulf Craft’s inaugural show in the Sultanate comes as Oman continues to make the headlines for increasing investment in its tourism infrastructure, in which its marina industry shines as a prominent contributor. With a 10% growth in tourism and almost 2.1 million global visitors in 2013, the Sultanate is continuing to strengthen its waterfront offering for leisure travelers, at the existing line-up of marina facilities – creating the perfect grounds for Oman’s first-ever show of this kind.

“We are very excited to be hosting this exclusive preview for our clients and the public in Oman. We have a strong heritage in the market and in the region as a whole, having operated in the GCC for 33 years. We believe Oman already has a strong appetite to expand its leisure marine offering, considering its natural coastal assets and active marina players such as The Wave Muscat who are doing their share to develop waterfront community living in the Sultanate. We see this event as a great way to showcase our wide range of craft which covers everything from smaller family leisure boats to luxury superyachts, and we hope to bring more people to the water here in Oman,” said Mohammed Alshaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft.

Visitors to the Gulf Craft Exclusive Preview event will be able to tour the yachts and boats on display at Almouj Marina, The Wave Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, from 4 pm to 10.00 pm from May 1st – 3rd.
