18 March 2015: Gulf Craft, one of the world’s leading superyacht shipyards, amazed Qatari guests with its latest superyacht, the Majesty 122, and its new and innovative yacht collection built for extended sea travel – Nomad Yachts – at an exclusive preview this morning of its leisure craft.
The globally recognized shipbuilder is hosting a private show until 20 March at The Pearl Qatar to showcase its wide range of luxury yachts and leisure boats and cruisers to its valued Qatari customers.
The Majesty 122 is the newest addition to Gulf Craft’s line of luxury fly-bridge superyachts, which combine style and elegance with sophisticated technology to create the epitome of truly royal cruising. Designed to suit the Mediterranean lifestyle, the Majesty 122 has unrivaled lounging areas for entertaining both inside and out, including two decks with lavish interiors, an extended balcony, and a spacious fly-bridge.
The superyacht also offers a fully equipped galley and luxurious accommodation for ten guests, with five spacious en-suite staterooms. The garage at the rear of the superyacht can hold a tender and two three-seater watercraft, further raising the bar for recreation and entertainment.
Now a regular feature of Gulf Craft’s event calendar, the exclusive preview in Qatar allows the yacht manufacture to reconnect with their Qatari clients by making local announcements and personally showing them the latest designs. With strong prevalence in the Qatari yacht market, Gulf Craft welcomes this perceptive market’s appreciation for their exceptional breadth of yacht design.
“The Qatar exclusive preview is a great opportunity for Gulf Craft to give something back to our strong local market, gain valuable feedback from our existing customers, and entice new clients to the water,” said Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft.
“Our Qatari customers are very important to Gulf Craft, not only because we hold a 40 per cent share of the local yacht market, but also as they have a genuine appreciation for our vast collection, with local clients having the widest yacht preference in the region.”
For the first time in Qatar, Gulf Craft is also displaying their newly launched Nomad Yachts range, which has been designed for owners who like to enjoy the world’s most beautiful panoramic coastlines from the water. This new design concept is the first semi-displacement yacht by Gulf Craft and demonstrates the shipbuilder’s versatility and commitment to creating vessels to suit all clients’ needs.
On show are the Nomad 75 and Nomad 65, the first yachts in this new line which have been crafted for boat enthusiasts with an insatiable appetite for sea travel. Nomad Yachts are engineered to offer premium comfort, safety, and oceangoing capability, and are both robust and chic in design, with an airy loft style apartment feel. The Nomad 65 offers elegant interiors, with white oak parquet flooring, marble counter tops, and cozy soft furnishings, and sofas crafted from high-quality leather in the main saloon area.
More than 10 yachts will be featured at the Gulf Craft Exclusive Preview, with a number of its other innovative yachts and boats, including the luxurious Majesty 105, as well as its latest models of Oryx Sport Yachts and Cruisers, and its Silvercraft fishing boats and family cruisers, offering a wide range of experiences to everyone.
