Gulf Craft's "Going Green" Project Continues

Award-winning manufacturer, Gulf Craft,  has conducted its latest Going Green Project at the local beaches of Umm Al Quwain.  With the assistance of the UAQ Ministry of Public Works Service Department and UAQ Municipality, Gulf Craft has held a successful clean up of the beaches in the emirate of Umm Al Quwain on Saturday, February 13.  The UAQ Beach Clean-up Drive is Gulf Craft's way of giving back to the community.

Our UAQ Beach Clean-up team consisted of more than 100 Gulf Craft employees, headed by Erwin Bamps, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Craft and Mohd. Abdul Monem, HR Manager. The task was to clean up three coastal areas in UAQ.  At the end of our clean-up, we had gathered more than 100 garbage bags full of waste materials.

Mr. Erwin Bamps said " Gulf Craft cares for the marine environment  that we worked in. We have initiated this activity to be in line with the UAE government’s initiative on health and safety programs. Gulf Craft is committed to our corporate responsibility."
